“Mary and Jojo came for 2 weeks in March (their longest stay yet!) they were fantastically looked after. “Our two 14 year old girls came to stay for nearly four weeks in January. I was a bit apprehensive as we had not used Oaklands before and had never left the girls for this length of time. I needn’t have worried - Bridget looked after them wonderfully, taking time to find out what they would eat and providing Poppy with a little house to curl up in, which she didn’t want to leave when we picked them up! “Our elderly cat Smudge (21 years old), stayed with Bridget and Grenville on a number of occasions in the last two years of her life and we couldn’t have been happier with the care she received. She needed tablets twice a day and this was never a problem. Caring for elderly cats can present its own set of challenges and Smudge did have to go to the vets twice during her stays but Bridget was brilliant and we trusted her completely to always know the right thing to do. We had to say goodbye to Smudge last week but if we have another cat in the future we will have no hesitation in coming back to Oaklands. Thank you both.”
